Requests for help
Information on this site about our work is general and is not an offer of assistance. Asking for help doesn’t guarantee assistance. Help depends on available funds and our service area, and we review every request case by case.
Donations
Donations are voluntary and are processed by a third-party platform (Zeffy), whose terms of use also apply. Donors can give online through Zeffy. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donations to United Plates of America are non-refundable. The only exceptions are processing errors, such as a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount, which will be corrected upon the donor’s request. Donors may request a correction within 30 days of the donation. Monthly gifts can be changed or canceled anytime through Zeffy. Gifts go where they’re needed most unless you name a specific program. If a program raises more than it needs, we’ll use the extra for similar work.
