Programs

Four programs for our neighbors in eastern Washington and North Idaho (Spokane and Kootenai counties), starting with fresh meat for families who use local food pantries.

Our 2025 results

  • 3 families received fresh meat or protein through MEAT-ups.
  • 3 people with hearing loss got hearing devices through Hear the World.

Essential Needs Assistance and Housing for Neighbors in Need have not helped anyone yet. We’re working to raise $1,000,000 so we can grow all four programs and, in the long run, reach families across the nation.

MEAT-ups

Many small food pantries can’t offer fresh meat because they have no freezer or cooler. At a MEAT-up, our refrigerated truck brings fresh, USDA-inspected meat to a local food pantry on the pantry’s own distribution day, and families take it home that same day, so the pantry doesn’t need to store anything.

Housing for Neighbors in Need

Everyone deserves a safe place to live. We plan to help neighbors who are homeless or housing-insecure by supplementing housing costs, such as rent, and we are in the early planning stage of work toward building housing.
